We’re proud to be a family-owned company established over twenty years ago in Lincoln, Nebraska. We provide an active, enjoyable, and affordable lifestyle for the Residents living in our communities. In our delivery of the Resort Lifestyle, we strive for a work culture in which each employee is valued, respected, and appreciated. 

Constant Growth

From the moment we opened our first community at Savannah Pines, we have been on a fast pace of growth. Today, we have more than 60 locations across America with more on the way. In addition to our corporate team in Nebraska, each RLC location is fully staffed with its own operational team. From dining and culinary positions to activities directors, managers, concierges, maintenance staff, sales professionals, and housekeepers, we’re always looking for great people to join us on our journey of making senior living as relaxing and worry-free as possible.

Our Residents and Team Members come from all walks of life and represent every culture, religion, and ethnic group. We respect and honor those differences.

Kindness & Compassion

Kindness is love in action. It's the little things we do for our residents that leave the greatest impact on their hearts: a touch, smile, kind word, honest compliment, listening ear. All have the potential to make a big difference in the lives of others around us.


Being known as people who are honest is one of the most important values we can posess as a company. When people know we are honest, they feel comfortable doing business with us and they become our greatest ambassadors in the community. When we deliver exceptional service to our residents, as promised, we are acting honestly.

Service Excellence

Well-trained, highly motivated employees provide consistent service excellence. They not only meet, but also exceed our residents' expectations. Our caring and compassionate employees work hard to provide first-class service, and the result is happy, loyal residents!


Ensuring our actions are consistent with all of our core values is acting with integrity. Exhibiting integrity is more than what we do, it's who we are as people, and it determines the success of our company.

The Ron Herron Service From The Heart Award

Perhaps no other team member exemplified our values greater than Ron Herron. Ron and his wife Annette spent their lives dedicated to the service of others. 


In 2003, Ron and Annette became Resident Managers at the newly built Walnut Grove community in Omaha, Nebraska. Serving seniors was an incredibly good fit for them, and they continued with RLC as Marketers at Maple Ridge, our third community, and finally as Resident Managers again at Riverstone in Kansas City, Missouri. 


While at Riverstone, Ron was diagnosed with throat cancer. While the initial prognosis was encouraging, it quickly became apparent that his life on earth would be cut short by the disease. Ron died in August 2011.

At Resort Lifestyle Communities, we deeply respect, honor, and appreciate the wonderful things that Ron meant to our residents and to the company. In an effort to memorialize Ron's contribution to our family and to help carry forward his encouraging spirit, we named an annual award in his honor. 


The Ron Herron Service from the Heart Award is given each year to recognize employees who have provided truly outstanding service to our residents. The award honors employees who exemplify in every way the spirit and approach that was demonstrated by Ron Herron himself.
